Director of Events
The Opportunity
Lace AI is transforming how home service businesses grow revenue by turning every call into a measurable opportunity. We’re looking for a Director of Events to lead the charge on bringing our brand to life in the field - from first impression to booked demo.
In this role, you'll architect and execute our events program end-to-end: identifying strategic opportunities, managing complex logistics, driving promotion, delivering memorable experiences, and turning every interaction into pipeline. You'll be the face of Lace at industry events, representing our brand through speaking opportunities and thought leadership while ensuring every event becomes a revenue engine.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Event Leadership: Develop and own Lace's comprehensive events strategy, identifying high-value opportunities from intimate executive dinners to major industry conferences.
- End-to-End Event Execution: Research and evaluate opportunities, manage submissions, negotiate contracts, coordinate booth assets, oversee travel and accommodations, and ensure flawless execution of every detail.
- Speaking & Thought Leadership: Represent Lace as a speaker at industry events, panels, and conferences, positioning our leadership team and driving brand awareness through compelling presentations.
- Event Promotion & Revenue Generation: Design and execute multi-channel promotion strategies including email campaigns, digital advertising, and strategic customer invitations to maximize booth traffic and demo conversions.
- Team Leadership & Brand Ambassador Management: Recruit, train, and energize brand ambassadors and event teams to ensure every interaction represents Lace with passion and precision.
- On-Site Excellence: Own the complete on-site experience—from setup to teardown—driving demo bookings, meaningful conversations, and memorable brand moments.
- Performance Optimization: Collaborate closely with sales and marketing to drive post-event follow-up, analyze ROI, and continuously refine our events playbook for maximum pipeline impact.

Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in field marketing, events, or experiential marketing—preferably in B2B SaaS or high-growth technology companies
- Proven track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder events that drive measurable business results
- Speaking experience or strong presentation skills with the ability to represent Lace confidently in public forums
- Cross-functional collaboration skills with experience working closely with sales, marketing, customer success, and executive teams
- Strategic thinking combined with tactical execution - comfortable with both high-level planning and hands-on logistics management
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Willingness to travel frequently and work non-standard hours during events
